OKLAHOMA CITY — A 27-year-old Canyon, Texas, man has been sentenced to 41 years and eight months in prison for kidnapping a 10-year-old girl. U.S. District Judge Vicki Miles-LaGrange sentenced Terrance Lynn McGuire late Tuesday for the January 2007 abduction of the girl in Texhoma in the Oklahoma Panhandle. ENMU rodeo program receives donation from wind farm operator

Freedom New Mexico The rodeo program at Eastern New Mexico University got a $10,000 boost from a local wind generating company for a covered practice facility. Edison, which operated wind turbines near Elida, donated the money to go to the 120 x 240-foot facility which is scheduled for completion in 2010.
