Baker Ellis E. “Sid” Baker of Portales celebrated his 90th birthday on Sept. 2, 2010. The celebration was hosted by his children and grandchildren. Sid was born Sept. 6, 1920, in Floyd County, Texas. He has one daughter, two grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
