Hull Street Overpass temporary closure

The Hull Street Overpass will be closed temporarily in order to undergo a refurbishment of the existing structure. The City of Clovis invited New Mexico State Bridge Engineer Mr. Ray Trujillo to examine the bridge following a report received from BNSF expressing concern about the condition of the overpass.

Clovis man stable following stabbing

CNJ staff A 21-year-old Clovis man was listed in stable condition Thursday after being stabbed multiple times Wednesday night, according to police. Capt. Patrick Whitney said police are obtaining a warrant for a 25-year-old suspect in connection with the incident. Whitney said police were called just before 11 p.m.
