Former Cannon commander nominated for first star

CNJ staff Former Cannon Commander Col. Timothy Leahy has been nominated for his first star, according to the Department of Defense. Leahy is currently serving as knowledge and futures director at the headquarters of U.S. Special Operations Command at MacDill Air Force Base in Florida. Leahy is nominated for the rank of brigadier general.
