Tucumcari struggles in first district game

Roundup: Tucumcari lost its opening district game, 42-13 to Estancia on Friday night. Logan scored a victory over Floyd on Saturday, 32-20. House beat Dora, 62-45 Friday. San Jon won 7-0 against Evangel Christian Academy.

Just sayin’: “We got all the down to the 1-inch line but the refs said we didn’t punch it in,” Tucumcari coach Daniel Hutchins said.
