Supernanny visits Hobbs
Yeah, but can she fly around on an umbrella a’la Mary Poppins?
You can ask JoFrost — a.k.a. “Supernanny” — yourself in Hobbs on Thursday.
Joanne Frost, 38, is the star of a British reality show featuring her professional nanny skills.
She will be speaking at Tydings Auditorium at Hobbs High School, beginning at 7:30 p.m. Thursday.
The lecture is free, but you have to have a ticket.

Wednesday will have plenty of sunshine, a high of 72 and a low of 41 in the Clovis/Portales area, according to Accuweather.
A north wind between 5 and 15 mph will blow during the day, and a south wind between 5 and 15 mph will come that night, according to the National Weather Service. The NWS also forecasts partly cloudy skies Wednesday night.

Joe’s Boot Shop in Clovis is the exclusive home to the Dusty Rhodes hat brand. Owner Joe Rhodes said he sells 3,000 to 3,500 Dusty Rhodes hats each year. The line is named in honor of Joe’s son, Dusty, who died in a car crash.
