Wednesday morning briefing: The “Thriller,” the World Series and maybe some snow
Good morning. Welcome to Freedom New Mexico’s Wednesday morning briefing.
Movie time
Michael Jackson’s “This Is It” movie opened with a late show Tuesday, but area residents have a variety of viewing options starting tonight.
Clovis’ North Plains 7 offers showtimes at 2 p.m., 4:40 p.m., 7:10 p.m., and 9:50 p.m.
Adult tickets are $6 for the first two shows; $8 for the last two.

Something to do:
Who says there’s no culture in Clovis? Ya’ll just come on down to the Clovis High Lecture Hall at 7 p.m. Thursday night.
You can watch the “Imagination String Concert,” which features seventh- and eighth-graders playing violins and cellos.
The 19-member Clovis Middle School Orchestra will perform music while stories are read.
It’s a 45-minute show and it’s free.
