Local women's fitness center hosts turkey drive

To help people who wouldn’t have a turkey this Thanksgiving, Curves of Clovis is hosting a “Give a Gobble” event Wednesday and Thursday. During this event, Curves plans to waive the initial service fee for any new member who brings in either a turkey or a $30 contribution, all to be donated to the Food Bank of Eastern New Mexico.

Curves owner Viki Crawford said Curves’ goal is to donate 100 turkeys.

The festivities will include turkey games, a leftover-turkey recipe exchange, a stuffing recipe exchange and more.
