Local officials complete leadership training

Four public officials in Curry County and one from Portales recently graduated from the 2009 Leadership New Mexico Local Government Program.
They are Curry County Commissioner Wendell Bostwick; Clovis Emergency Management Director Ken De Los Santos; Melrose City Councilor H.P. Cargile; Clovis Municipal School Board member Terry Martin; and Portales City Manager Debi Lee.
Leadership New Mexico was founded in 1995 to identify emerging leaders, enhance their skills and deepen their understanding of challenges and opportunities in the state, according to a press release.
