Cookbooks being sold

Women of the Church of God-Anderson are selling cookbooks to raise money for the group’s activities.

The money will fund activities, missions and Christmas baskets for the underprivileged.

Paula Stevens with the group said cookbooks are made up of local recipes from Portales, Melrose, Clovis and Friona. They are $12 and can be purchased by contacting Stevens at 693-7658.

DJ Ministries will perform during the church’s morning worship service 10:45 p.m. Sunday.

The church is at 3719 21st St.
