Students with reading difficulties sought
Dr. Kathleen Donalson and her team at Eastern New Mexico University in Portales are looking for students in the first through tenth grade who struggle in reading.
Parents who are concerned about their child’s reading abilities may volunteer their child for testing.
Children will be scheduled for approximately two hours of testing on March 13, March 27 or April 10.
Parents and children will benefit from the study by obtaining information about their child’s reading and individualized instruction. Students who participate in the free testing will receive one-on-one tutoring at the ENMU reading clinic on Tuesday through Friday, June 7-July 2.
