ALBUQUERQUE — A Clovis man won the top prize in the New Mexico Lottery’s “$250,000 Money Maker” game.

Travis Odell purchased the winning ticket Saturday at Llano Estacado Chevron at 660 E. Llano Estacado.

Travis, a 48-year-old plant manager, and his wife Kymburly claimed the $250,000 prize Wednesaday at lottery headquarters in Albuquerque.

“We’ve been on a mission in the last couple of years to eliminate all debt from our lives,” Kymburly Odell said. “We were debt free on everything except our house.”

The Odells said they’ll use the prize to retire their mortgage.
