Wednesday morning briefing: Supernanny headed for Hobbs

Good morning. Welcome to Freedom New Mexico’s Wednesday morning briefing.

Supernanny visits Hobbs

Yeah, but can she fly around on an umbrella a’la Mary Poppins?

You can ask JoFrost — a.k.a. “Supernanny” — yourself in Hobbs on Thursday.

Joanne Frost, 38, is the star of a British reality show featuring her professional nanny skills.

She will be speaking at Tydings Auditorium at Hobbs High School, beginning at 7:30 p.m. Thursday.

The lecture is free, but you have to have a ticket.

To get one, call Laurie Dean at 575-392-6565, Ext. 1014.

Go figure:

Joe’s Boot Shop in Clovis is the exclusive home to the Dusty Rhodes hat brand. Owner Joe Rhodes said he sells 3,000 to 3,500 Dusty Rhodes hats each year. The line is named in honor of Joe’s son, Dusty, who died in a car crash.
