Clovis newcomer Clair Zarges wants to know "Are there any real Clovis fans out there?"
It seems the answer is yes.
Here's what Kay Arvizu has to say:
"You can certainly count me as a Clovis fan. That does not mean that I am blind to improvements that are needed, or that I always agree with our leadership. ... But wherever we are, we can make a difference. We can be part of the solution, and not part of the problem. I choose to make the most of this life, whatever, whenever, wherever."
See what else she has to say on the editor's Web log:

Responses to a request for the best burger in the region continue to roll in.
This from Tucumcari's Bill Tausworthe:
"Try a KIX Route 66 burger at KIX in Tucumcari. I like mine with sweet-potato fries. It has Angus ground beef, bacon, cheese, lettuce, tomato, pickle and Spanish onion. KIX is on Route 66."
And this from Christopher Martinez:
"I think the best burger in New Mexico, and most of Texas, would most (definitely) have to be found at Eddie's Subs & More downtown (on) Main Street in Clovis. They have homemade buns and great tasting chili. And their burgers are made fresh to order. You need to try them out!"
