Ex-CHS standout in WNIT

Former Clovis High standout Aimee Hilburn scored 11 points and added 10 rebounds to help Texas State beat Prairie View A&M 84-83 on Thursday in a first-round game of the Women’s NIT.

 

Texas State (21-10) plays Texas Tech (16-15) at 7 p.m. (CDT) Saturday in Lubbock in the second round.

Hilburn, a 6-1 sophomore forward, is averaging 7.2 points and team-high 6.1 rebounds a game
