The Clovis Municipal Schools Board of Education held a special meeting 5:30 p.m. Monday at the central office building. The board held an executive session to discuss personnel matters regarding the position of superintendent.
Superintendent Terry Myers last week accepted a position as superintendent at Crockett Independent School District north of Houston.
After one hour in a closed executive session, the board reconvened and Board President Terry Martin said the matter will be addressed as an agenda at the next regular meeting and formal action will be taken at that time.
The board will then decide on a way forward and the direction they will take with regard to the search for a new superintendent.
The next regular meeting of the CMS school board is 5:30 p.m. March 25 at the central office building.
