Road work this week


Starting Monday, Schepps Boulevard will be closed to through traffic between 7th Street and US 60/70/84 while street improvements are being made by K. Barnett & Sons. Construction is scheduled to last four weeks, depending on weather.

Clovis Community College traffic should use the Trades Road entrance for access during the construction period.

Curry County

Signal Energy is working on Curry Road 34 just west of N.M. 209 to Curry Road Q. Be aware of congestion, workers and heavy equipment in the area.

Curry County Road Department will be installing culverts at Curry Road 10 and Curry Road C. Seek an alternative route when workers are present.

Curry County Road Department is still shredding bar ditches and pot hole patching around the County. Observe all posted speed limits and use extreme caution around areas workers are present.


Traffic flow will be greatly reduced due to construction work on eastbound Second Street near the intersection of Main Avenue. Expect driving lanes to move slowly and have intermittent delays due to the temporary stoppage of
