Two local locations are among the 51 Bank of America branches acquired by Washington Federal last week, according to a release from Washington Federal.
Bank of America branches on Prince Street and the Cannon Air Force Base will be converted to Washington Federal on Nov. 1.
The release also stated that Washington Federal offers employment to employ Bank of America employees after the conversion.
“Every effort will be made to minimize disruptions to customer banking routines at those locations,” Washington Federal CEO Roy Whitehead said. “Existing clients will benefit from the added convenience of over 50 new banking locations.”
The banks purchased were in four Western states, including 19 in eastern Washington.
