Education digest – May 16, 2013

Eastern New Mexico University has presented Faculty Excellence Awards to four faculty members, according to an ENMU press release.

  • Mary Kallus, associate professor of reading education, was given an award for superior student advising.
  • Chris Taylor, assistant professor of management, received an award for research/scholarly/creative activity.
  • Jason Paulk, director of choral activities, was given an award for teaching.
  • Suzanne Swift, department chair for health and human services, was awarded for service to the community and her department.

The awards were presented by ENMU President Steven Gamble at the university's Saturday commencement ceremony.
