ENMU team takes design award

Eastern New Mexico University communication services won the Gold Award (first place) for design improvement at the Council for Advancement and Support of Education District IV Conference March 24-26 in Fort Worth, Texas, according to an ENMU news release.

The winning publication was designed by Jim Dodson, Scott Kendall and Wanda Newberry for the Blackwater Draw archaeological site.

The Council for Advancement and Support of Education encompasses higher education institutions in Arkansas, Louisiana, New Mexico, Mexico, Oklahoma and Texas.

ENMU President Steven Gamble received the E. Joseph Savoie Chief Executive Leadership Award at the conference.

Citizens Bank of Clovis pledges $60,000 to Clovis Community College Cultural Arts Series

Citizens Bank of Clovis has pledged to support the CCC Cultural Arts Series with $20,000 each year through the 2015-16 season, according to a CCC news release.

The series is funded primarily through the support of community entities. Approximately 70 percent of the series' revenue comes from sponsor donations and season ticket holders.

The cultural arts series hosts as many as 13 events each season. The series includes performances and educational outreach activities. It reaches approximately 8,000 individuals.
