Here is a sampling of police, sheriff and fire calls for:

Wednesday

  • 5:21 a.m: Caller requested a check for dim lights seen through windows of a vacant house, 1900 block of Axtell Street.
  • 7:21 a.m.: Caller reported he and his dog were attacked by another dog and caller was bitten, 100 block of East Tierra Blanca Road.
  • 8:21 a.m.: Caller found a pouch containing needles and a spoon on a bench, 300 block of North Main Street.
  • 9:26 a.m.: Caller advised he was outside working in his yard when a man came up behind him, took his wallet out of his back pocket and ran, 1300 block of Axtell Street.
  • 10:55 a.m.: Caller advised a very angry man with a loaded assault rifle and handgun left down the street in a vehicle, near Tierra Blanca Road and Smith Street.
  • 12:08 p.m.: Caller reported rims missing from his home, 1000 block of North Oak Street.
  • 1:05 p.m.: Caller advised a very small dog left in a vehicle with windows up, 3900 block of North Prince Street.
  • 1:17 p.m.: Caller advised a large amount of children run in and out of a vacant house in the neighborhood, 1300 block of Edwards Street.
  • 3:46 p.m.: Caller reported a vehicle parked in a fire lane, 2800 block of North Prince Street.
  • 3:51 p.m.: Caller advised a male claiming to be an exchange student was selling things door-to-door, 1100 block of Ross Street.
  • 5:22 p.m.: Caller advised a male and female sitting in front of a vacant house bought drugs from a passing vehicle, 500 block of Maple Street.
  • 6:02 p.m.: Caller advised she was on scene with the parents of the juveniles who broke her windshield, 500 block of Dawn Loop.
  • 6:35 p.m.: Caller reported smoke from electrical poles in an alley, 900 block of Harvard Street.
  • 8:47 p.m.: Caller reported a dog was hit and lying injured in the roadway, near Grand Avenue and Mitchell Street.
  • 9: 31 p.m.: Caller reported someone stole their vehicle keys from their house, then stole their vehicle, 600 block of Siesta Lane.
