Redistricting proposals open for viewing

The public can review and comment on Clovis Municipal Schools redistricting proposals 6 p.m. Thursday in the Clovis High School Lecture Hall.

The school board will vote to choose a redistricting option at its Aug. 28 meeting.

If option A, B, C or D is approved, many children in Clovis will be moved from Marshall and Yucca middle schools to the new W.D. Gattis Middle School when it opens August 2013.

A member of Research and Polling, Inc., which developed the options, will explain the process used to develop the proposals and answer questions.

Questions about the redistricting can be directed to the superintendent's office at 769-4320.
