Police blotter – June 27

Here is a sampling of police, sheriff and fire calls for:

Monday

  • 8:06 a.m.: Caller reported the male reported for a domestic disturbance was across the street peeking into the windows of the house, 800 block of North Edwards Street.
  • 9:39 a.m.: Caller reported their wallet was stolen from an unlocked vehicle, 3700 block of Glenfield Drive.
  • 10:07 a.m.: Caller advised there was a big black cow in the bar ditch, near mile marker 395 on U.S. 60/84.
  • 10:47 a.m.: Caller advised someone driving around the neighborhood was ringing everyone's doorbells, 100 block of Sandzen Drive.
  • 12:52 p.m.: Caller reported a found wallet, 2000 block of North Prince Street.
  • 1:43 p.m.: Caller advised that several signs blew into the roadway from a nearby property, almost hitting passing vehicles, 1900 block of North Thornton Street.
  • 2:54 p.m.: Caller advised a lady on a motorized wheelchair all over the street heading west on Brady Street, 800 block of South Norris Street.
  • 5:22 p.m.: Caller cut the power line while in the alley trimming trees, 200 block of East Tierra Blanca Road.
  • 6:20 p.m.: Caller reported an iPod and prescription sunglasses stolen from their vehicle, 200 block of Crusader Court.
  • 7:29 p.m.: Caller advised seeing flames and smoke from the air conditioner. Residents were trying to put it out, 3000 block of Axtell Street.
  • 7:37 p.m.: Caller reported three dogs on the property chasing the horses around and had already chased the caller, 300 block of Frontier Drive.
  • 8:14 p.m.: Caller reported two large dogs in a filthy, small fenced area with no food or water, 1900 block of Wallace Street.
  • 9:12 p.m.: Caller reported smoke and soot coming from a water heater. Caller and three children were leaving the house, 400 block of Georgia Street.
  • 10:27 p.m.: Caller advised there were eight skunks behind a shed in her back yard, 900 block of Rosewood Drive.
  • 10:51 p.m.: Caller reported someone tried to sell her marijuana over the phone, 900 block of East 10th Street.
