Of note: Former ACU player and assistant coach Joe Golding was hired as the Wildcats’ head coach on July 18. … Zach Williams, a 6-foot-4 senior G, leads the Wildcats in scoring at 13.4 ppg, followed by 5-9 junior G Antonio Bell (11.3) and 6-3 junior G Kendall Durant (11.2). A fourth player, 6-2 junior G Armani Williams, is averaging 10.2 ppg in six games — four off the bench — but hasn’t played since a Nov. 29 loss at Dallas Baptist. … Bell leads the team with 31 assists. … The Hounds play their final game before Christmas on Monday at Division I Long Beach State, an area which is home to several ENMU players.
