Wednesday morning briefing: Big bands, a test of strength and a he lost on Jeopardy

Good morning and welcome to the Freedom New Mexico Wednesday briefing.

Big band sounds

Dance the night away Saturday to the Eastern New Mexico University Jazz Ensemble.

It’s the ensemble’s Big Band Dance at the State Theatre in Clovis from 7-10 p.m.

Admission is $5 per person and all proceeds go towards the annual ENMU Jazz Festival expenses in March.

Test your strength

Think you and your friends can pull a truck?

Southwest Cheese is hosting a Truck Pull fundraiser on Dec. 10 at the

Curry County Fairgrounds.

Teams consist of 15 members.

Registration is $375 or $25.00 per team member. Student team registration is $300.

Proceeds go to United Way of Eastern New Mexico.
