Good morning and welcome to the Freedom New Mexico Thursday briefing.

Or, at least a little surprised by taking a walking tour of art treasures at Eastern New Mexico University.

It’s from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday and includes stops in the Administration Building, the Roosevelt County Museum and end sin Golden Library at the closing reception for Runnel Gallery’s featured artist, Jessie Dodington.

A movie and more

United Way of Eastern New Mexico’s Health and Wellness Day at Clovis Community College Saturday includes a special showing of the documentary film “Fat, Sick & Nearly Dead.”

Registration starts at 9 a.m. and the festivities include seminars on a variety of health issues as well as speakers, prizes and a healthy lunch.
