A former Clovis resident is offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to recovery of a flatbed trailer, storage container and other items discovered missing Oct. 20 from a fenced-in lot at 93 Curry Road E.

Gary Bunger, who lives in Washington state and owned Bunger Construction for 25 years, said the estimated cost of the items in the railroad car storage container was between $20,000 and $30,000.

Thieves used bolt cutters to cut the fence to access the containers and used a cutting torch to get through locks and inside the containers, Bunger said.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of the stolen property can contact Bunger at 575-791-5254 or gjbunger@yahoo.com.
