No. 18 Rambelles rout Zias

SAN ANGELO, Texas — Celeste Bonter collected 11 kills Thursday night as 18th-ranked Angelo State remained unbeaten for the season with a 25-11, 25-14, 25-15 Lone Star Conference volleyball win over Eastern New Mexico University.

The Rambelles (15-0, 7-0 LSC), who host No. 17 West Texas A&M on Saturday, recorded their 10th straight-sets win of the season.

Junior outside hitter Amber Durand had six kills and five digs for the Zias (3-11, 1-10), while senior middle blocker Jessica King and junior outside hitter Evelyn Escobar each added five kills.

ENMU is back in action on Saturday in a 1 p.m. (MDT) conference matchup at Abilene Christian.
