Police seek help locating absconder

New Mexico State Police are asking for help locating Marco Rivera, 20, of Clovis for failing to comply with terms of his supervised release and believed to be on the run.

State police spokesman Sgt. Tim Johnson said Rivera failed to show up Monday at ACE Leadership Charter High School in Albuquerque.

Johnson said Rivera should be considered armed and dangerous.

Johnson said Rivera is convicted of aggravated burglary, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, conspiracy to commit aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, false imprisonment, unlawful taking of a motor vehicle, receiving stolen property and criminal damage to property.

Rivera is described as 5-feet 4-inches, 150 pounds with distinctive tattoos including a tear drop under his right eye, the letters “WS” on his neck, “WSLOSL” on his left shoulder, “Brown” on his right hand and “Pride” on his right hand.
