The Liverpool Legends, a Beatles tribute band, will make their Clovis Music Festival debut 7 p.m. Sept. 9 at the Curry County Events Center.

The Legends perform a multitude of songs made famous by The Beatles, whether the songs were released by the group as a whole or from solo efforts.

The four-member group was hand-picked by Louise Harrison, sister of the late George Harrison, and shows include vintage instruments, along with special effects and costumes that will remind audiences of The Beatles’ heyday.

The Liverpool Legends have performed in venues such as Carnegie Hall and The Cavern Club in Liverpool. They have also recorded at the Abbey Road Studios in London and performed with Denny Laine, Pete Best and the Boston Pops.

The Clovis Music Festival starts Sept. 8 with a Buddy Holly themed musical performed at Marshall Middle School Auditorium, and continues through Sept. 11 with nightly performances at the Curry County Events Center.

Tickets are $20 for the evening performance.
