Good morning and welcome to the Freedom New Mexico Tuesday briefing.

Car for a cause

The Desert Cruzers Car Club is raffling off a rare 1993 Chevy Camaro to raise money for the Make A Wish Foundation of New Mexico, Clovis Community College and Lighthouse Mission.

Tickets are $10, and only 4,000 will be sold.

The drawing is set for Sept. 10 and ticket holders need not be present to win.

Higher education

The fall semester at Eastern New Mexico University in Portales starts Wednesday.

The semester ends Dec. 16.
