A 42-year-old Clovis woman received a six-year prison sentence after pleading guilty Friday to a charge of distribution of marijuana.

Chantille Woods was arrested in April 2009 after a state police officer smelled marijuana coming from her vehicle during a routine traffic stop, according to a press release from the district attorney’s office.

When Woods consented to a search, officers found two large duffel bags containing more than 170 pounds of wrapped marijuana bundles, the release said.

Following completion of her sentence, Woods will be required to serve an additional two years supervised parole.
