Mesalands Community College has announced four finalists for president at the two-year college.
The four finalists are as follows: Larry Edwards of Oklahoma City; Jimmy Cargill of Glendive, Mont.; Veldon Law of Las Vegas, Nev. and Mildred Lovato of Albuquerque.
Each candidate will tour the campus and have an interview with the Board of Trustees and tours of the campus. The campus visits will include public forums with members of the college and the local community scheduled from from 3:30-4:30 p.m. at the college.
Edwards will interview Monday, followed by Cargill on March 9, Law on March 10 and Lovato on March 11.
The new president will succeed Phillip O. Barry, who is retiring after 15 years with the school.
