On March 4, James and Martha Sercey celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary.
When they met, James Franklin Sercey was stationed at Cannon Air Force Base and Martha Anna Drager was attending school in Bovina, Texas. It wasn’t long before they were happily married at the First Presbyterian Church on Pile Street in Clovis.
Their marriage has been a model for all to aspire. Sometimes it has been one of loss, sacrifice and hardship with each providing the other with strength and constant companionship. It has also been a marriage of laughter and steadfast love where every look, every word and every action expresses their devotion to each other.
It is together that they joyfully celebrated many of God’s blessings, including four children, 12 grandchildren, and eight great grandchildren. Please join us in congratulating James and Martha Sercey’s 50 years of love.
