A 35-year-old Clovis man was arrested Thursday on charges of trafficking methamphetamines after an investigation by narcotics agents.

David Patrick, is being held without bond at the Curry County Adult Detention Center on a parole violation in conjunction with the case, according to a press release from the Curry County Sheriff’s Office.

Patrick’s arrest resulted from the execution of two search warrants, one at his residence in the 700 block of Oak and another at a residence in the 900 block of East Seventh Street, the release said.

The search warrants were based on a month-long investigation by agents of the Region V Drug Task Force which revealed Patrick was trafficking narcotics from his home, the release said, and storing them at the residence on Seventh Street.

Agents located and seized about 1.8 ounces of meth as well as paraphernalia used for packaging and distribution, according to the release.

Patrick was on parole in connection with prior drug trafficking convictions.
