Williams scored 50 points in the first two games of the season, an 80-79 win over Texas-Permian Basin (21) and a 90-86 loss to Dallas Baptist (29). Three others average between nine and 10 points. … Eleven players have started at least one game for the Wildcats. … Aaron Edwards, a 6-7 junior F and one of ENMU’s top subs, will miss his third consecutive game today due to a dislocated shoulder sustained Jan. 19 in the first minute of play at Midwestern State. Coach Andrew Helton said Friday that Edwards, the team’s fourth-leading scorer (9.6 ppg) and second-leading rebounder (5.3 rpg), will be re-evaluated Sunday and could play Wednesday at home against Incarnate Word.
