The Clovis and Curry County Chamber of Commerce will be celebrating 2010 tonight.
The chamber is hosting its annual banquet, which includes a reception honoring the chamber’s past presidents and citizens who have had a big part in the last year.
Chamber Executive Director Ernie Kos said that 350 tickets have been sold for the event and there are about 20 open seats.
Tickets can be purchased at the chamber on the Main Street. Tickets are $40 each.
The guest speaker at the banquet will be Gen. Donald Wurster, Commander of the Air Force Special Operations Command.
The chamber’s annual awards include the 2010 Citizen of the Year, volunteer of the year, business of the year, ambassador of the year, Ken Huey Patriot Award and the Heart Award.
Kos said the theme of the banquet is “All Missions Possible.”
The event starts at 6 p.m. with the past chamber president’s reception and dinner will be served at 6:45 p.m.
