Eastern New Mexico University will host a debate Tuesday between candidates for the office of New Mexico Attorney General.
The debate between Democratic incumbent Gary King and Republican challenger Matt Chandler is set for 6 p.m. in the Zia Room of ENMU’s Campus Union Building.
It is scheduled to last an hour, and is being hosted by the ENMU Student Body Association and the High Plains Patriots.
“It is important to know that college students are engaged in this year’s election, and can make a difference at the polls,” Student Body Regent Rob Wachter said in a release. “This debate will allow us to make an informed decision in this ever-so-important race.”
