The kickoff concert of the 2010-2011 Cultural Arts Series, “Hotel California—A Salute to the Eagles” scheduled for October 9 at 7 pm at Marshall Auditorium is still on, according to Christy Mendoza, Cultural Arts Director at Clovis Community College.
“The real Eagles concert in Lubbock this week was canceled and rescheduled for later this month,” said Mendoza. “Our tribute concert is very much a go and tickets are selling fast,” she said, adding “we don’t want fans to miss out because they heard the concert was canceled.”
Playing over 180 shows a year, HOTEL CALIFORNIA is one of the most sought-after tribute bands in the country. The five-member group accurately reproduces the sound of the Eagles’ studio recordings while recreating a classic sound which undeniably transcends the boundaries of Rock, R&B, and Country.
Tickets are $20 General Admission and $15 for Seniors, Military, Students, and Children. Tickets are available at the CCC Cashiers’ Windows, Clovis/Curry Chamber of Commerce, CAFB ITT Office, by calling 769.4035, or at the door the evening of the performance (pending availability).
