Club notes — June 20

Claud Rainy Day Extension Club

The Claud Rainy Day Extension Club met May 26 at the Gallery 15 Bistro for lunch and annual birthday meeting with eight members.

A collection was taken to aid an extension member in need rather than exchange gifts.

Annette Taylor provided a list of “Extraordinary Uses for Ordinary Foods” which was enjoyed by all.

Ann Carter was hostess on June 9 at the “Back Door” at 1:30 p.m. with eleven members and guest Rita Akers.

Delicious snacks were served.

Karen Burns from the fire department gave a program about summer cautions and problem preventions.

The next meeting will be with Annette Taylor at 10 a.m. on June 23.
