Clovis police are investigating nearly three dozen broken vehicle windows over the weekend.
Police began receiving reports of broken windows Saturday morning from residents in the mid-north to northwest portions of Clovis, according to Capt. Patrick Whitney.
Police are investigating under the assumption the incidents are related due to the time and location of reports.
The 1000 to 1200 blocks of Sandia Drive alone accounted for seven incidents and the 2900 and 3000 blocks of Wallace Street had nearly half a dozen reports, police records show.
Some of the incidents involved burglaries from the vehicles, he said.
Whitney said the 34 incidents will likely exceed $10,000 in cost, assuming an average replacement cost of $400.
