Sophomore wins poetry contest

Clovis High School sophomore Savannah Armijo won second place in the state level of the Poetry Out Loud contest. Poetry Out Loud, a project by the National Endowment for the Arts, the Poetry Foundation and state arts agencies, encourages students to learn about poetry through exploration, memorization and performance.
