School board meeting to discuss Isler litigation

The Clovis Municipal Schools Board of Education will meet at noon Thursday in executive session to discuss litigation involving Clovis High basketball coach J.D. Isler.

Isler was suspended in December, and subsequently terminated, for New Mexico Activities Association allegations of recruiting. Isler, who has denied the allegations, was reinstated by a federal judge while his lawsuit against CMS and the NMAA is ongoing. Isler has offered to drop legal action if he is allowed to coach the Wildcats next season.

The closed meeting will be held at the CMS administrative office at 1009 Main.
