Video of the day

Of all things inevitable — death and taxes — some local help with at least one issue.

It’s our video of the day.

Family tradition

Melrose senior Clint Barnard is going to join his older brother, Call, playing football at New Mexico Highlands, says

Buffaloes coach Dickie Roybal.

A quarterback and linebacker, Clint led the Buffaloes to their second straight 8-man state title this season.

He was the 8-man player of the year.

Brother Call Barnard played five games at linebacker as a freshman last season at Highlands, which finished 1-10.
