PORTALES — Eastern New Mexico University volleyball coach Kim Falkenhagen has resigned her duties at the school.
ENMU athletic director Jeff Geiser made the announcement on Wednesday.
“I appreciate all the work that coach Falkenhagen has done here at Eastern,” Geiser said in a release from the school. “I wish her luck in her future endeavors.”
The Zias were 16-76 in Falkenhagen’s three seasons at ENMU, including 0-38 in Lone Star Conference play. ENMU’s lone win over an LSC opponent during that time came in a five-set victory over East Central in a tournament at Greyhound Arena in September 2008.
Falkenhagen came to the school prior to the 2007 season after serving for four years as the head coach at NCAA Division II Bemidji State (Minn.). Her previous experience also included three seasons (2000-02) as a graduate assistant at West Texas A&M.
