Bingaman to take part in finance committee round table on health care coverage

U.S. Senator Jeff Bingaman on Tuesday will take part in a Finance Committee roundtable to discuss expanding health care coverage. Also on Tuesday, Bingaman will chair an Energy and Natural Resources Committee hearing on pending nominations, including that of New Mexican Michael Connor to be Commissioner of Reclamation (BOR) in the Department of Interior.

Bingaman chairs hearing of New Mexican for top Bureau of Reclamation job

U.S. Senator Jeff Bingaman today presided over the confirmation hearing of New Mexican Michael L. Connor, who was nominated by President Obama to lead the Bureau of Reclamation (BOR). Connor graduated from Las Cruces High School and earned a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from New Mexico State University.
