The National Education Association is meeting with members of the Clovis Municipal School District this week as part of a membership drive.
According to the school employee union’s Web site, Clovis is the target of the union’s membership campaign.
Representatives will also discuss state funding and other issues affecting school employees, according to the Web site.
Clovis Schools Superintendent Rhonda Seidenwurm said representatives from the union are speaking with teachers at school during off hours.
She said union representatives met with teachers on Monday and will meet again today. She said about 100 Clovis Schools employees are members of the union.
The union has about 3.2 million members nationwide.
