Gov. Bill Richardson appointed Raymond Mondragon to the Economic Development State Commission.

Mondragon was appointed last month, according to a spokeswoman at the governor’s office.

Mondragon, the director of economic development/government relations at ENMR Plateau, replaces George Munoz who resigned from the position after winning a seat in the state senate in November.

Mondragon will go through a confirmation hearing before the Senate Rules Committee before starting his term on the commission.
