The Salvation Army is hosting a disaster preparedness class on disaster food services Saturday, according to a press release.
The course trains disaster workers to efficiently and sanitarily handle and serve food during a disaster operation, the release said.
Participants learn skills to prepare them for participating in mobile feeding units.
The class will be held from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 317 E. 2nd Street.
