Pizza delivery driver robbed Sunday

Clovis police are investigating the Sunday night robbery of a pizza delivery driver.

Around 10:30 p.m. police received a report a female delivery driver was robbed at gunpoint when she went to the area of 13th and West streets to deliver a pizza order.

According to a police report, the 19-year-old delivery driver said an order of more than $100 was placed by a female for delivery to the corner of 13th and West streets.

She said when she arrived, a male grabbed the food out of her hands and ran off, the report said.

The driver said another male approached with a bandana over his face and pointed a gun at her, demanding all her money.

She gave him $20. The suspect told her to lay face down on the sidewalk. The victim said she waited until she heard the suspects run away and then got in her vehicle, the report said.

The victim was uninjured and drove back to Pizza Hut on 21st Street to report the robbery to police, the report said.
